The Question & Answer Zone...

What's your favourite genre of music?

Call me hackneyed and clichéd but I like most types of music as long as it is at the good end of the genre.

My Desert Island Discs would include classics like Creedence Clearwater Revival – Heard It Through The Grapevine or ELO - Showdown along with some more modern stuff like New Order – Leave Me Alone or The Big Pink – Velvet.

For my sins I even like Hip-Hop and would say the works of Notorious B.I.G. aka Christopher Wallace have been a big inspiration (I am only half joking when I say that).

When you're not at Epsom Hospital Radio, what are you doing?

Working as a Project Manager for ITV Studios.

If you had £1,000,000 to spend on yourself and no-one else what would you spend it on?

Turn it into dollars and spend $500k on fast cars, $500k of fast women and $500k on fast food. I’d probably be frivolous and waste the remaining $142k.

What is your ideal holiday destination?

I am not too fussy as long as the hotel breakfast is top notch. You can’t beat a selection of domestic hams and continental cheeses in the morning, washed down with freshly squeezed fruit juice in an impossibly small vessel. If I have time, I also like to make the most of the complimentary preserves and toast - I have been known to sneak a Bonne Maman miniature or two back to my room for safe keeping.

What is your favourite film?

Turner and Hooch – gets me every time.

What is your favourite TV programme?

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Screenwipe, Peep Show, Master Chef or any Sports programme.

Who is your favourite comedian?

Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Who is your favourite sports team/star?

I support Everton (via my armchair) and find myself watching England play anything from Football to Rugby via Table Tennis.

What is your favourite drink?

Scotch on the rocks or lager, I’m not fussy.

What is your favourite food?

Depends on the time of month, Lobster on payday, Steak in the middle and whatever the in-laws are cooking towards the end (they are starting to realise they only see me towards the end of the month!)

What inspires you?

The fear of failure, people with nothing who give everything and the Notorious B.I.G.

Middle name?

Pereguin Cornelius

Star sign?

Sagittarius

Weird & wonderful talents?

I have a wonderful ability to offend people I have only just met with poor-taste quips. It is both a curse and a talent.

Most treasured belongings?

I would say my wife, but in reality the first thing I would save from a fire would be my cashmere sweaters – then I would go back for my wife, providing the flames hadn’t got “out of hand”.

Favourite smell?

Italian cooking, a good red wine or Aqua di Parma - my signature cologne.
